The winding wheel is on the front, easily accessed when wearing gloves and very fast to wind; a significant step up from comparable winding wheels and "flash mag" style setups, which can be a hassle to use under pressure. Once your BBs are loaded, wind the wheel until the noise changes, and you're ready to give 'em hell! The fill valve is located on the baseplate, requiring the mag to be inverted to fill with gas.
