The ETU/MOSFET system finding its way into more and more mid to high-end AEGs straight out of the box, the Kestrel Basic offers 6 levels of adjustable pre-cocking, options for 3-round burst and binary trigger, along with low battery warning, cycle completion, active braking and low/high voltage cutoff. All programming is carried out on the fire controls of your AEG, meaning mode changes are easy on the fly and don't require app connectivity. Compatibility-wise, this version of the Kestrel Basic is designed for rear-wired version 2 gearbox-equipped AEGs, including M4/AR-15, AR-9, SMG-5 (not K or PDW) and G3 AEGs. Installation will require expertise and familiarity with AEG internals, but thankfully, it won't involve soldering as the set comes pre-wired to a Deans battery connector and spade motor connectors.
