G&G GK5c GL AK5 Full Metal Airsoft Rifle

The GK5c is G&G's airsoft version of the Swedish Bofors Ak 5C automatic carbine. The AK 5 is the Swedish version of the FN FNC assault rifle with certain modifications that adapt the rifle to the Swedish climate. The AK 5C is the modernized version of the original AK 5. The improvements over the original version include a shortened barrel, increased reliability, adjustable stock, ambidextrous fire selector, and a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail system. G&G has done an excellent job with the production of the GK5c AEG. It is a full metal rifle with very close attention to detail. Externally the gun looks and feels great. The first thing you will notice is the forest green color scheme. The entire gun is painted in a dark green with the rails and a few other exposed metal parts in a dark bronze color. The stock is fully adjustable and can also be folded over to the side. It locks into place nicely with the touch of a button.A one-point sling attachment point is located at the base of the lower receiver. The fire selector is ambidextrous and can easily be accessed on both sides of the receiver. A fully functional bolt catch system allows easy access to the hop up adjustment and is easily closed by using the bolt release found on the left side of the gun. The GK5c has an over-sized trigger guard, making it easy to operate while wearing gloves. The sights are very low profile and fully adjustable. The top of the gun has a long picatinny rail which allows virtually any scope or optic to be added to this AEG. A unique feature on this airsoft gun is the front handguard. The handguard is made of a durable ABS plastic and houses the battery. It is opened with the touch of a button which gives you quick access to the battery compartment. It has three rails built in: two short side rails and a longer rail running along the bottom. Four modular rail covers are included. Internally this AEG is very well made.
