The EPS-RD-MRS is a full-sized, enclosed handgun sight featuring an aspheric lens for a perfectly clear sight picture. EPS-RD- MRS has an ultra-low dot height for compatibility with most factory iron sights and utilizes Holosun?s proven K footprint. EPS-RD- MRS includes an RMR-to-K footprint adapter plate for maximum compatibility. EPS-RD- MRS features Holosun?s 650nm Red Super LED with Holosun?s MRS (Multi-Reticle System) and provides up to 50k hour battery life from a 1620 cell. EPS-RD- MRS also includes Shake Awake technology, 8 daylight and 4 night vision compatible reticle intensity settings. EPS-RD- MRS is made of 7075 aluminum and is IP68 dust and water proof. Solar Failsafe? Solar Failsafe Technology is one of many innovations featured on solar-equipped Holosun optics. With Solar Failsafe, if your battery fails you always have a backup power source when natural or artificial light is available. Solar Failsafe is activated while in Auto Mode where reticle intensity is automatically adjusted based on the amount of light the solar cell receives. In brighter conditions you have a brighter reticle and in lower-light conditions the reticle will step down in intensity to match any lighting conditions. On models equipped with a super capacitor, it is possible to run the optic, indefinitely, in daytime and night conditions, by maintaining a charge through the Solar Failsafe System all without a battery. Shake Awake? Shake Awake Technology is a standard feature on all current model Holosun optics and serves to extend battery life by deactivating the optic?s LED while not in use. A highly sensitive motion sensor works to detect motion keeping the LED powered on during use. This allows for duty or concealed carry with seamless operation throughout your day or shift. At the end of your day or shift when your firearm is stored, the motion sensor will detect a motionlessness state and after 10 minutes (default setting) Shake Awake Technology powers the LED off until motion
