The Well MK96 in tan is a spring-powered bolt-action sniper rifle that fires at 400 FPS with 0.20g BBs. Wellfire built the upper receiver, fluted outer barrel, and bolt out of metal, then mounted them to a thick polymer chassis. The stock features an adjustable cheek rest and buttpad so you can align your eye properly with the large optic. It fires single-shot, has a functional safety lever, and holds 40 rounds in a removable magazine. The box comes with the rifle, a 4-16x50mm illuminated rangefinder scope, a tactical sling, a speed loader, a cleaning rod, and sample BBs. The internals use a spring-and-piston design based on the Maruzen Type 96 system. Because it doesn't use VSR-10 parts, you have to check component compatibility before buying upgrades. To upgrade the airsoft rifle, add a steel-sear trigger box to support heavier springs, and swap in a CNC-machined hop-up chamber to run standard AEG-spec barrels and buckings. For the best accuracy at 400 FPS, skip the light 0.20g ammo and load the magazine with heavy 0.30g or 0.32g match BBs.
