The only polymer components are the ergonomic pistol grip and the adjustable crane stock, ensuring a realistic 3000g weight and a rock-solid feel that EMG is known for.Inside this EMG masterpiece lies a CYMA Platinum gearbox, featuring a Version 2 Extended Type (SR25 style) shell. This setup is pre-installed with the Kestrel V2 Basic MOSFET, providing snappy trigger response and protecting your electrical system. The airsoft rifle pushes a competitive 380-400 FPS and comes equipped with a 340mm inner barrel. Because it uses a long-type motor and a standard V2-style hop-up, this EMG rifle is highly compatible with common upgrade parts. You can easily swap the long type motor for a high-torque alternative or install a precision tight-bore barrel to maximize the range of the DD5 platform.While the CYMA Platinum internals are already reinforced with high-speed gears and a quick-change spring system, the recommended upgrade path involves a high-torque motor to enhance the semi-auto cycle speed and a bucking/nub upgrade to capitalize on the stable hop-up unit. For power, a 7.4v stick LiPo is recommended to fit the buffer tube, though the Kestrel V2 MOSFET and Deans wiring ensure it can handle high-performance batteries with ease.
