FPS Softair X-Ring Seal For Piston Head
For a sturdy upgrade to your AEG the FPS X-Ring is a piston head seal with a quadrilobate section, which during dynamic stresses are not subject to seal rounding. X-Rings have less wear than O-Rings as they require less radial pre-stress which results in lower contact pressure.A lubricant reservoir can be created between the sealing lips using silicone. Installing this ring will optimise the sealing effect thanks to a better pressure distribution due to the square section.The X-Ring eliminates any negative effects due to the closing line of the mould, as this is located in the groove between the two lips.
