A highly detailed full metal replica of the Colt Model 653, the 14.5-inch-barreled descendant of the XM177, the real M653 was purchased in large numbers by the US Military throughout the Vietnam War and also used to this day by the Israeli Defence Forces. Inside, the CGS M653 is based on the TM ZET system design, widely regarded as the best GBBR internal system around. CGS (CYMA Gas System) has made it even better, throwing in a generous complement of steel parts, including the trigger group and bolt catch. Being a "Lightning series" build, this GBBR swaps out the steel bolt of the original CGS for an aluminium bolt, improving rapid fire performance and gas efficiency. Also inside is a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel, a generous advantage that improves gas efficiency and accuracy.
