Prometheus HOP-up Tensioner for AEGs
If you seek more accuracy or range from your AEG, the Prometheus HOP-up Tensioner for AEGs will help you achieve it! Supplied as a pack of two tensioners, you can choose between a "Bridge" style design with a central groove designed to reduce side-to-side deviation and thus, enhance accuracy, or a "Flat" style design intended to achieve maximum range. The contact surface provided by this HOP-up nub (another word for tensioner) is far larger than the standard, resulting in a stronger backspin effect and extended range with heavy-weight BBs. The two tensioners included in the set are of different colours; one purple and one black. The purple tensioner is made from softer rubber, designed for sub-350 FPS builds and the black one is slightly harder, ideal for 350 FPS and above, making it the perfect tensioner for an AEG DMR. Compatibility-wise, these tensioners should fit almost any Airsoft AEG HOP-up unit but as always is the case with internal upgrades, we only recommend these for experienced techs and those who know their way around AEG internals.
