The Nightstalker piston has eradicated all the common weaknesses of an AEG piston to create an almost flawless design. Firstly, it has been constructed from a reinforced polymer, one that can pull stronger springs without causing damage to itself. It also has a drop-in angle of engagement (AOE) which helps distribute the force evenly on the teeth of the piston rack, reducing the risk of premature wear or breakage. The stress points of the piston have been revised to spread the wear between 3 contact points and drastically reduce the load on each tooth. Another upgrade is that the piston rails have been revised to reduce friction, this removes the wobbling of the piston against the gearbox and keeps it completely straight.
