While it is a full metal build, the spring behind the charging handle is rather strong and carrying out the "HK Slap" can damage the charging handle and cocking tube. Any damage caused by the "HK slap" is not covered by your usual 12-month warranty. A superb quality full-metal build with the iconic olive green "A3" furniture, the CA-A3 looks the business and is far lighter than other full metal G3 AEGs with no quality compromises! Inside, this build is based around a version 2 gearbox with 18:1 ratio steel gears running on 9mm steel ball bearing bushings for a smooth, unlaboured gearbox report. An in-line MOSFET is pre-installed to prevent trigger lockups and enhance the rate of fire and trigger response. All internals are TM-spec, meaning aftermarket upgrades are prolific and ever available, whether you're building this beast up into a DMR or otherwise!
